while winter is typically a time of stillness and quiet reflection for me, death and rebirth are more appropriate overarching themes for how i usually engage with this season’s energies. i am currently experiencing and undergoing many transformative shifts, most importantly, Pluto transiting my first house. many of the ways i used to enjoy spending my time are being disrupted, challenged or threatened. and amidst this unfamiliarity and closure, my poetry finally arose before me to alert me of its completion.
i have been sitting on this comprised writing collection for months. well, years if we’re taking into consideration all the many revisions that took place during the compilation’s gestation. from the early months of 2016, i have been spilling what has been stored within my body. they’ve poured out in tears, laughter. they’ve made themselves known to me through fearless, new relationships and less glamorously through abruptly terminated ones. but most importantly, they’ve taken form as poems and essays,
and they have communicated to me that they are ready to take their final form.
summoning god, summoning myself will be available in march.
i am eagerly awaiting their official release, and i am offering some of my favorite selections from the compilation.
thank you for actively engaging with my writing, in all its many styles. many of you are most familiar with my writing when it comes to describing and divining the energy shifts available to the collective. i share my personal reflections and explorations through my twitter, as well.
my poetry is certainly something that many are not familiar with, and i hope to share more of this kind of writing in the upcoming months. poetry is a language so instinctual and embedded with me, no matter how far away i stray from communing with it, i could never extract it from my blood or clear it from my Heart.
